Software integrity
Anti-Piracy Policy.
EgyptAir VA maintains a strict zero-piracy policy for members, staff, community resources, and operational software.
Zero-piracy requirement
The use, promotion, distribution, request, or discussion of pirated software, cracks, illegal activators, leaked products, unlicensed payware, or copyright-protected files without authorization is strictly forbidden within EgyptAir VA.
Proper licensing
- All simulator software, aircraft, scenery, utilities, charts, dispatch tools, and community resources must be legally obtained and properly licensed.
- Members and staff are responsible for understanding the license terms of the software they use.
- Software released or shared by the VA must be distributed only where licensing permits it.
Prohibited conduct
- Sharing links to pirated software or files.
- Requesting cracks, serial keys, illegal activation methods, or bypass tools.
- Hosting unauthorized copyrighted documents, charts, liveries, scenery, aircraft, or utilities.
- Using VA spaces to facilitate copyright infringement.
Enforcement
Members found intentionally using or distributing pirated software may be removed from the VA without warning. Where a violation involves VATSIM-related conduct, staff may report the issue to VATSIM as appropriate.
Reporting: suspected piracy should be reported privately to staff using support@egyptair-va.com.
